Our hoists are available in 3 different series with different hook dimensions: normal, short and extremely short. Shorter hook dimensions have the advantage of improving the usable height in existing buildings/spaces e.g. below deck on ships, platforms, etc. The hook almost reaches the underflange level of the beam. With new systems, the shorter hook dimensions enable the ceiling heights to be lowered – without sacrificing the usable heights – and thus a reduction in construction and maintenance costs. Depending on the series, the hook dimensions of our products can improve the usable height by up to 100 cm.
The advantage of a shorter hook size is that, in tight spaces, it can be stacked higher, making better use of storage space.

Explosion-proof devices

IEC Ex
IEC Ex stands for “International Electrotechnical Commission System for Certification to Standards relating to Equipment for use in Explosive Atmospheres”.
Regarding IEC Ex, HADEF can supply all electrical components with IEC Ex certification.
Individual certifications for electrical components in accordance with IEC Ex are available on request.
Zinc plated
Zinc plated steel devices are durable with excellent resistance against corrosion. They have maximum resistance in areas with high humidity or aggressive environment conditions.

Thanks to special swivelling trolleys, our electric and pneumatic chain hoists are also suitable for use on beams with extreme small radius.
planetary gear
Despite their compact design, planetary gears enable the transmission of high torques, since the power is distributed over several gears. This design promises low wear and thus a longer service life.
